First Impressions
Jonathan Cahn is a Jewish Rabbi, author, and a Charismatic spiritual leader. He associates with the Word of Faith Movement, and Charismatic, and Pentecostal circles. He also has a following of people outside of the church. Just regular people that love his books and videos.
I have read almost all of Cahn’s books with the exception of the Book of Mysteries. I read Cahn’s first book the Harbinger back in 2017 and found it to be a great read. I generally don’t like to read fiction but the Harbinger and the Harbinger II: The Return, are my exceptions and was kind of like reading a good Stephen King novel. I used to read his novels before I was saved by the Grace of God through Christ Jesus.
The Harbinger II, opens at the “Beginning,” with the return of Nouriel… a fictional character from the original Harbinger and from the first chapter to the last the reader is on a journey to unlocking nine mysteries, nine different Harbingers, nine prophecies for the end times from the Bible. The story begins unfolding by unlocking the mystery of small clay seals with ancient inscriptions. The book actually draws the reader into the story like a good Indiana Jones film.
This book has Four Parts with 35 page turning chapters. My favorite chapters are…
- The Return of the Prophet Part One:This is where the book starts picks up pace and gets really interesting.
- Foundations in Part Two: If you remember the original book the Harbinger, the Foundations of that book began when George Washington, Prayed and decreed from the Trinity Church in New York.
- Watchman in Part Two: This chapter got my heart pumping. Cahn, takes you back to the New York on that dreadful day of September 11, 2001. This time the story leads us through evidence that the trumpets from the watchman were blown as a warning cry to the city. “The Trumpets were sounding as the two planes that came from Boston changed course and headed to the towers of New York City. And the voice of the prophet Zephaniah echoed to lower Manhattan…” Zephaniah 1: 16
These three chapters alone are worth the price of the book. I did not have a hard time fact checking every instance in this book. Everything is available on Youtube and media outlets.
Harbinger II: The Return Cons
- For myself the only con is that this book is written as fiction. Would be better if it was written in similar fashion to The Paradigm: The Ancient Blueprint That Holds the mystery of our time
Harbinger II: The Return Pro’s
- Written in way that grabs the reader by their eye balls and forces them through cliff hangers to keep turning pages.
- Factual not fictional information that is easy to look up online.
- Hardback that is manufacture in a way to last for years.
- The book is printed in the United States. This is a huge plus since many publishers have their books printed in China. By printing in the U.S.A. Front Line, actually helps our economy. Now the problem with China is that their work force is actually slave labor and that country is persecuting Christians. Not to mention, they created the Covid 19 virus in a lab and unleashed it on the world, wither by accident or on purpose.
- The Cover is glossy paper with a nice graphic with storm clouds over New York City. The cover actually gives away what the harbingers lead up to but you won’t believe what the main harbinger is that is leading America to judgment. Of course I believe that will take place during the tribulation hour. Christians will not be here for the tribulation or even the revealing of the Anti-Christ according to scripture.
- This books comes complete with several pages of notes by the author where he gives scriptural references and a few other nuggets of gold information and resources
Conclusion
Jonathan Cahn, concludes in the minds of the reader that we are in the last of the end of days. The Nations of this world are on a collision course with the judgment of God in the tribulation period. Of course I have to agree with him. The world is aligning with the books of Daniel and Revelation, for a one world government controlled by the Devil through an Anti-Christ and a worldly false prophet which will probably be the Pope who lives by the seven hills in Rome. To find out where we are right now and what you need to do to be ready is read to James chapter 5, in your bible.
The revealing is taking place right now as you read or listen to this review. All in all this book is a fantastic read and worth the cover price.
