3 Keys for a Personal Revival

Rant

Before we begin with this blog post, I have a confession to make to you  in just a moment but first things first. I have been accused of being a bit hard hitting with some of the articles that I have written of late. If you feel that way then I am sorry. However, I would like you the reader to know (and this isn’t my confession) that it was not I that wrote those blog post.

What? You might be asking.

No, it was not I that wrote those post, it was the Spirit of God that is within me that wrote those blog post. Before I ever set fingers to keyboard, I would like you to know that I spend as long as it takes in prayer, meditation, and the study of the word of God, in order to hear and understand “what it is that the Holy Spirit is saying”, before I ever begin teaching or preaching with the written word on this blog or in article or on forums and other blogs.

So, if your toes have been getting step on, then you need to move your foot, and begin to walk in the Glorious realm of God’s Holy Spirit, and let him (God) order your steps.

Key #1: Confession is made before Revival can begin

One of the toughest blog post for myself to write as of late was “You… God’s mighty warrior”I wanted to write a post that would be more of a “Rah, rah, speech”, and rally you to get into your bible and have a closer walk with him. However, I believe I failed miserably. I began the post with wrong intentions in the first place, with little prayer and hardly any study on the subject what so ever.

I had set a deadline for myself, and expected God to deliver. He did. God gave me what I gave him, very little.

You reap what you sow, so to speak. I have learned a lot through that experience.

Since you are going to discover in just a moment, 2 more keys of How to have a personal revival, I wanted to begin it with the first key: Confession.

David Jeremiah, may have said it best…

A remorseful man, wanting to reassure his skeptical wife, said: “I’m going to make a 360-degree turn.”

David Jeremiah writes: “That’s the kind of change a lot of people make. A 360-degree turn is no change at all. What we need is a 180-degree change, a reverse direction, a U-Turn.

“In driving, U-turns are handy when we realize we’re going in the wrong way. The same is true in life. The Lord tells us to turn from our wicked ways and to turn toward Him in confession and true repentance. This involves a change of heart, a change of mind and a change of direction.

“What direction are you traveling right now? Don’t keep barreling the wrong way. Turn 180 degrees to Christ and start living for Him today.” (Turning Point Daily Devotional, 7-24-10) Source

With all that said and out of the way let’s get into our closets where confession is made to God. Make the U turn today. Without confession you will not be able to have a…

Key#2: Fresh Revelation

Fresh revealtion isn’t a prophecy, it isn’t an open eyed vision, or a phrophetic dream. A fresh revelation from God, is God giving you a new hope, a new dream or a new assignment for your life. God is the director of our paths. He see’s into our future and nudges you into the direction he wants you to go.

Key #3: Participation

I believe that we are living in the last days. Nothing new there, preachers have been preaching on this subject for as long as I can remember. However,  there is a new wave of Gods Gloy and annointings coming on the Church, soon and if you are not in tune with the Spirit of God, you might not participate in this wave. I believe that this wave is going to fall on believers that are participating in there local churches. This wave is going to fall on the true worshipers of God and doesn’t matter about your denomination preferance.

I believe that the Lord, is going to bring us back into an Apostolistic church time simular and yet more powerful than in the book of Acts.

Sounds exiting doesn’t it?

Oh, I believe it will be glorious when the church actually stands up… in full power, Full of Gods Glory, Full of Gods annointings and Full of Gods Grace. Believer, we will look like Christ, walk like Christ, Christ in you, is the worlds hope of Glory! (paraphrase is mine).

This wave will usher in true ministry for the world, for every Nation, Country, State and your local community. The local church will become the hub if you will for those that have no hope, finacially, physically, spititually, and mentally.

Will you be prepared? The time is now!

  1. The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought youd have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.

  2. Hiya, I'm really glad I have found this information. Nowadays bloggers publish just about gossips and net and this is actually frustrating. A good site with interesting content, that is} what I need. Thank you for keeping this web-site, I will be visiting it. Do you do newsletters? Cant find it.

    1. If you are talking about the website link it could be any website you like. I would rather it be a site of yours like your own web site or a social media site like face book, twitter or G+ that is yours. I would allow a affiliate site if the product reflects the article.
Oh ya, I forgot to mention if you use ezine articles or an article directory or favorite form you can use that in the website link as well. It is all about traffic back to you.

  3. Waves! We're waiting for another wave. It's worth repeating–it's not just one wave. It's wave after wave of God's glory and anointing! I want you to think about that.

    1. It is wave after wave of God's anointing and Glory! I agree, that is what I said in the article. Praise God! The Anointing is tangible, amen… You can feel it… Do you feel it?

  4. It's a shame you don't have a donate button! I'd definitely donate to this excellent blog! I guess for now i'll settle for bookmarking and adding your RSS feed to my Google account. I look forward to fresh updates and will talk about this website with my Facebook group. Chat soon!

    1. Thanks for the offering. I do not take donations, but you have me thinking that maybe I should have include a donation button to Teen Challenge.

  5. When we read God's instructions in Leviticus 23, we find that the count to Pentecost must begin with "the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering… "(verse 15). It is clear that the day of the wave sheaf is the day that God established to begin the count toward Pentecost. We cannot observe the Feast of Pentecost on the correct day, as commanded by God, unless we understand when the day of the wave sheaf occurs. Like Pentecost, the wave sheaf day is not a fixed date on the Hebrew Calendar. It must be determined each year by following God's instructions in the book of Leviticus.

    1. Those whom might be scratching their heads here, I'll give you the scripture on the count down to Penetecost.

(Lev 23:15-16 NKJV) 'And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering: seven Sabbaths shall be completed. {16} 'Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a new grain offering to the LORD.

Now if you love Bible study this will be a good lesson to get into. Thanks Krista, this was a head scratcher for about 10 minutes and I almost didn't think I was smarter than the backside of a rusty shovel. On the flip side, you don't need to know this information in order to have a personal revival.
