5 Prayer Points to consider
I’ve kept this post short, because Kenneth Hagins video is over an hour long. My 5 prayer points below could be used as cliff notes for the video.
1. “Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do…” (John 14:13,14).
Entire dependence upon the merits and mediation of the Lord Jesus Christ as the only ground of any claim of blessing.
2. “If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.” (Psalm 66:18).
Separation from all known sin.
3. “For whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6).
Faith in God’s Word of promise as confirmed by His oath.
4. “You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.” (James 4:3).
Asking in accordance with His will. Our motives must be godly.
5. “And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night?” (Luke 18:7).
Importunity in supplication. There must be waiting on God and waiting for God, as the husbandman has long patience to wait for the harvest.
