Rising Up

By

It is God Who sits above the circle, the horizon of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers: It is He who stretches out the heavens like [gauze] curtains and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.

But, those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. [Isaiah 40:22, 31 Amp.]

As we wait upon the Lord with expectancy in our time set apart for Him, the Lord is faithful to be found by us. When we reverence the Lord with a humble loving attitude many wonderful things can happen during this time.

It is a wonderful time to meet with him and to praise and worship him with joy and in song, or to just quietly wait on Him. During this time we must be alert to listen to what He might want to tell us. Whether it is in the bible, a vision, a song, a fresh word from heaven, a psalm, or direction, or perhaps specific message, whatever the Lord may reveal to you.

It is important to bask in His anointed presence. As we seek the Lord, scriptures tells us that we will mount up into the heavenly sphere unto God and we shall be changed, renewed , and strengthened, by the Lord so that we will be able to run the race that is set before us.

The bible declares that we shall run and not be weary and walk and not faint. That makes you and me overcomers through Christ who strengthens us.

It is reassuring that the Lord is with us no matter what trials may come our way. In this world trials may come but, we can be assured and comforted that the Lord is not only with us but, He has given us the Holy Spirit to guide us during the perilous times in which we live.

Amen.
