At playNo one asks their parents, can I be born? But, rather as babies we find ourselves here on planet earth born of a mother and a father. We are brought into this world generally crying; if we don’t cry right away after we are born we get a smack on the back side and wonder, why? And whoever is delivering us whether it’s a doctor, nurse, or someone else they won’t quit until we do cry. What a start, ugh!  To top it off we are born naked and need something wrapped around us to help us feel more secure.

Soon we learn if we cry we get attention, and receive things that make us feel good like milk and a diaper change. We get fussed over and adults, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, other relations and friends of our families make funny faces and noises to and at us which, we don’t understand. But, somehow it’s not so bad. After while we figure out we like the attentions we are receiving so, we practice crying to get things, and to demand attention. That stage passes and we find we are doing something called crawling and that’s good because we can get to the things that sparkle and we try grabbing them to examine whatever it is and then many times we get told, “No”. We hear, “no” so often that we begin to say, “No” and somehow when we say, “no” it’s not the same as when they say it. We can’t figure out why so, we cry and generally when we do cry we seem to get attention but, not always the kind we want.

As time passes we find that we have made it through different growing phases until the day comes and we start school and leave mommy, and anyone else that is home including maybe our favorite pet. Then we finally arrive at kindergarten, or school and some us may cry because it’s a strange new environment that we find ourselves in. To others of us the new experience may seem a little scary but somehow; we make it through our first day. When we arrive back home we are happy to see our mommy, and, or family and feel secure again. From that first day to the 12th grade we undergo many changes, and challenges in our lives which, teach us to become independent so that we can function as adults in society as we continue on in our lives.

What is the purpose of man? What are we doing here? Is there a reason for our existence? The bible tells us that God has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also planted eternity in men’s hearts and minds (Ecc.3:11 Amp.) There is the natural longing in man to live and not to cease to exist, or to be. The word of God tells us that we are made in Gods image. It states those who accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior God gives power to become the sons of God! (John 1:12). Jesus referring to the resurrection of the dead in Matt. 22:32 taught that God is the God of Abraham, Isaac; and of Jacob. He is not the God of the dead but of the living! This statement is profound and gives those who believe in God hope for everlasting life.

I believe the purpose that God created mankind for is companionship and son ship. God made a way for mankind to find the Lord by simply asking Jesus Christ by faith to come into their hearts and to save them. When we do this and mean it we become sons and daughters of God! We will be able to live with Him as his dear children forever in companionship with Him, and all the previous saints and each other; this includes family and love ones that have gone on to heaven before us (John 3:3-17).

If you want to know Jesus as your person savior now pray this simple prayer, if you mean it in your heart when you pray these words then the Lord will come into your heart and save you from your sins no matter what you might have done, and He will abide with you from now on. Just pray, “God, I know that I have sinned, I am sorry. By faith I accept your son Jesus into my heart right now as my personal savior, Jesus come into my heart and save me from my sins and abide with me forever. Amen. “If you meant this prayer He has come into your heart and will abide with you. Now, ask The Lord to fill you with His Holy Spirit and ask Him to guide you in selecting a church that teaches the full word of God. When you go to church you should learn more about God and the bible.  Scriptures tell us that His sheep (people) hear His voice and will follow Him (John 10:27 -30). Ask the Lord to give you a peace in your heart when you are in the church He is leading you to be in to grow spiritually. As you step out in faith you will become a blessing to others and as you grow in the things of the Lord, you’ll find the destiny that God has ordained for you.

In heaven there will be no more loss, no more dying, no more crying because one day God will wipe away all our tears and we will be able to reside with the Lord and one another forever and forever throughout eternity. ( Isa. 25:8 – 1 Th. 4:13 – 18)
