Harold Camping: False Prophet?

Harold Campings predition of “the Rapture of the Church” May 21st, 2011,

has been all the buzz on the Internet, social sites and forums. It has been said that some of his followers sold their homes, quit their jobs, all because of this mans prediction although, I haven’t found evidence of this.

I visited Wikipedia to do some quick research for this blog post.

Not to my surprise Mr. Camping, had previously predicted the taking away of the church, for September of 1994.

According to Wikipedia, Harold Camping uses Bible base Numerology to make his predictions. I do not know about you but, I consider Numerology “Witch Craft”, regardless if it has Bible Based before it.

Harold, is also one of the owners of “Family Radio” a Christian radio station based in San Francisco and website by the same name. At the time of this writing the website was down. If you are a listener of this radio station and a regular donor or advertiser, I would consider to stop donating and advertising on his stations. Seek the Lord and ask him for guidance to where you should place your donations and charitable work.

There is a huge discussion about this false prophecy going on at Greg Gordon’s Sermon Index forum.

As always leave your thoughts in the comment form below and let me know what you think.
