Arizona Pastor Arrested in His Home

Arizona Pastor Arrested in His Home

Can you believe this is happening in America? Click here to read the story. This really makes me hot under the collar. From what I saw on Fox News this morning there were 12 police officers that swarmed the home of pastor Michael Salman, like they would if he was dealing drugs. The Pastor was arrested for unlawful gathering, from what I gather.

The City said that he wasn’t zoned or permitted for a church. Ok, The good pastor was holding bible studies not church services. Christianity started with home gatherings and in the street. I bet many of the Pastor’s neighbors have gathering called “parties” were they might have 5 to who knows how many people over, to eat, drink, and be marry. At least with a bible study no home leaves intoxicated.

  Morality Check

Here is a question that I want to pose; was Pastor Salman, targeted by a city official? If so, why didn’t the city send a letter to him about their concerns? I don’t know if they did or not, it really doesn’t matter,   as American’s, we should be able to do what we want on our own property. It shouldn’t matter how many people we have over, as long as the gathering is peaceable and doesn’t disturb the neighbors. It just seems like a waste of resources to focus on a bible study when there are other more severe crimes that need to be solved.

I have read some replies to the Salman Video, and one person said, that he should have went and got a permit or been zoned for a church. My question would be would the city have zoned his residence for a church? I would be guessing, No.

What’s Next

This whole thing reminds me of the tyranny that our fore-fathers, left England for to come to America. Religious Freedom. America, is suppose to be “home of the brave, Land of the Free”? Personally, I think the city should release the pastor, drop all charges against him, and give him a public apology. I don’t think that will happen.

So, where does this leave you and I? I don’t know… I do know that Christians are targeted by the devil, and it seems that many “officials” that we have in our public offices, are being punked, by principalities and powers by demon’s in high places. God, give us strength to be more than conquers in Christ.

The words of Leonard Ravenhill, resounds in my mind at this moment. “If we don’t have a revival soon, then we might be praying for revival in concentration camps”.

I am writing this with pure passion for Pastor Salman, without much thinking, a pure rant if you will. Forgive me for this.

I have found another link, and I haven’t check it out very much and from the surface looks like a conspiracy theory site, but it might not be. Click here <—- to check it out.

  1. Can I make a suggestion? I believe youve obtained something good here. But what should you added a pair links to a page that backs up what youre saying? Or possibly you could give us one thing to look at, one thing that may connect what youre saying to one thing tangible? Only a suggestion. Anyway, in my language, there aren't much good source like this.

    1. I did give 4 links I believe. One to the source of a newspaper article and another to the same story with a little diffrent perspective. I did mention that I did not actually check into this site and that I thought it might be a conspiriacy theory site. That means you should proceed with caution when clicking that link. I did have a link directly to the pastors video on youtube. The sources were there and solid.
The rest of the commentary was my own and what I believe.

The city was at fault and let me ask, were there any laws "really" broken? Having a bible study in one's home is kind of like having a tupperware party. I don't know if the city had cited the pastor before they broke down his door or not and arrested a good family man, scaring his little kids as they watched their dad being hauled away in a police car just because he loves God and probably thought he was having a legal gahtering of worship. It wasn't like he was criminal or manufacturing illegal substances in his home.

I think America should be more shock by this story than they are now. And this isn't just happening in Arizona, but other states as well. Americais fractured. It's morality is in the sewer and I don't know if it really can be repaired or if the majority of American's want it to be fixed. I do know that God directs my path and until Jesus calls us home I will stand and on the B.I.B.L.E.

  2. Michael Salman, a US evangelical pastor, has been jailed for 60 days and fined $12,000 for holding Bible studies in his home. Even though Michael Salman’s home is set in 4.6 acres of land, the city of Phoenix has sough to impose restrictions on Pastor Salman’s ministry.
