Everyone goes through tough times in life. But you may not know how to lift your spirits and soar like the eagles, in this post you will discover how to free your mind from aggravation, get your mind off of yourself, off your hates, failures, resentments, and lift them up to high places where God intended them to be.
January 20th, 2021 was a pretty low day for myself and millions of other Americans. We witnessed Former President Trump and his wife Melania, fly off into the sunset, marking an end of the greatest Presidential term in my life time.
I watch the Last President of the United States depart, for now.
We also witnessed the very first fraudulent, inauguration this republic has ever witnessed. The swearing in of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. The USA and the world witnessed the very first President of a banana Republic.
My spirit, was at an all time low. After a short pity party, I had to get into the word of God, get my mind quiet and let the Holy Ghost lift my spirit. There are a lot of people that do not know how to lift their spirits. The Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:6 KJV;
“Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.”
How to Lift Your Spirit
I would like to give you a tremendous thought. A thought that literally has the power to remake lives. You must realize that the most powerful force in the universe is a thought properly used; for outwards circumstances or conditions do not determine what our lives become nearly so much as do the thoughts which dominate our minds. Here is one of the most powerful of all creative thoughts and it is our scripture text for today…
I will lift my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help
Psalms 121:1

This verse of scripture means and I will expositor it for you. I will lift up my thoughts, my attitudes; I will lift up my entire being from low defeatism to the high level where I derive help from God. You can’t overcome anything until your thoughts are lifted up first.
It is important that you lift up your mind to high altitudes in the Lord. Lift up your minds from small defeats and conflicts in which you customarily live. and by the reach of your personality you will receive help from God in the form of clear thinking, resolute of reaching out toward life, deeper understanding and strength. When your thoughts are in confusion, you live in a an unreal world, you cannot see your way out of it.
We must lift up our eyes to the high places, get our minds off of destructive attitudes toward other people. Again Paul the Apostle wrote in Ephesians 6: 12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
We must get our minds off of ourselves, off our hates, failures, resentments, and lift them up to high places “From whence cometh my help, ” We must look fearlessly at all the gloom and remind ourselves it is not permanent. We need to empty our minds of any fear, hate, prejudice, pride, lust, and evil malonate thoughts. These are the things devil battles of our mind.
We must every morning, afternoon and evening lift up our minds to God. We do this by reading and meditating on his word (your Bible) daily. In prayer, supplications, intercessions continually through out the day, praying for one another. We need to have bucketsful of faith rained down into us. Then our spirits will rise up like the eagles and your spirits will be lifted.
