In our last blog post you discovered how No Faith equals No Hope as you’re faith is increased. Today, let us take a closer look at having the hope of God in you.
Hope
Today there is more violence in the world than I can ever remember. It seems that the temperament of people is changing and not for the better. However, this is to be expected and as time draws nearer to the final trump, it will worsen. Already, there are persecutions among our ranks here in America, the land that Godly men and women settled in the faith of God.
2 Corinthians 10:15 KJV
Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men’s labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased , that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly
Like those men and women of times past, who faced adversity and their faith was tested, They never lost hope. If they had America would still be in the hands of England today. It is impossible to lose hope when you have faith in God. Increased faith intensifies hope.
Hope Builds Up Your Inner Man
Romans 5:1-8
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand , and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope maketh not ashamed ; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die : yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die .
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Faith producing hope helps build your inner man.
It is through patience and experience that faith producing hope builds your inner man or spirit. Faith comes by hearing the word of God. Hope comes from patience and experience, but faith intensifies your hope for all of your needs here on Earth and in the coming of the Lord.
You might be jobless right now. Keep your chin up, because God has another job waiting for you. Have you sought him for your needs? Once I was out of work and an opportunity came from out of left field. A bar and grill wanted me to cook for them. I accepted the job because my family and I needed the money. I did not seek God and guess what?
That job was a total failure.
God didn’t want me working for a bar and grill. He did use me to witness to others. The job actually ended on a bad note and I was let go. Believe me I was ready to go.
The point is you need to build up your spirit on the foundation rock of Christ. As you build yourself up and start walking in the spirit, through faith and the hope of Gods glory, you will hear the voice of the Lord and then you will know what it is that God has in store for you. All you have to do is ask.
