Is there any Intercessor…
Who will stand in the gap In this perverse generation?
This world is changing… America is changing, and there is a line being drawn in the spirit by the hand of God. The corruptible (the World) will know their own and love their own. The corruptible (Those in Christ Jesus) will be divided and made known to the entire world. We will be hated, wrongly accused, beaten, and killed. Don’t sound like much fun does it?
It’s coming!
There is a spirit of Antichrist spirit on America today. This spirit is blinding the mind of those who don’t believe. They are led into sins of the flesh and all kinds of sins that will destroy them. You can see this deceptive spirit on President Obama, and how the majority of Americans turn a blind eye to his reform. This is the same spirit that was on the Roman Empire and the empires before that.
It is the sign of the times.
Many things are happening such as the falling away of the Church and many other signs that are leading to the return of Christ. Praise God!
With everything going on in this upside down world, Where are the Intercessors?
This question was first ask in Isaiah 59.
13 In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.
14 And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter .
15 Yea,truth faileth ; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey : and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.
16 And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor : therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.
As dark as this world may be and it seems that it keeps getting darker by each passing day, there is still hope, there is still light in the darkness… for now. where are the intercessors today?
We don’t have to look back too far 300 hundred years ago, there was a man wounded psychically, mentally and spiritually from the ravage of a Holy war. It was the middle of winter when he was gazing off into the landscape of a mid-evil forest, probably contemplating like most do, why am I here? What is my purpose?
When suddenly, seeing an ancient tree, stripped of it leaves, and considering that within a little time, the leaves would be renewed, and after that the flowers and fruit appear. He received a high view of the Providence and Power of GOD, which had never been effaced from his soul. That this view had perfectly set him loose from the world, and kindled in him such a love for GOD, that he could not tell whether it had increased in over forty years that he had been born again and lived since.
Brother Lawrence of the Resurrection, had sacred continual communion with God, that he stayed in an atmosphere of prayer and in the presence of God, every hour of the day and night. His conversations and how he practiced the presence of God are recorded in a tiny little book titled “Practicing the Presence of God”
Brother Lawrence stood in the he gap of his generation. His practice of the presence of God, allowed him to be used for the Kingdom of God, as an intercessor for his time.
He must have read in the scriptures…
- Luke 18:1 KJV And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray , and not to faint ;
- Luke 21:36 KJV Watch ye therefore, and pray always , that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass , and to stand before the Son of man.
- 2 Thessalonians 1:11 KJV Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
