Is The World Is Going To End
December 21, 2012?
The Mayan Calender & December 21, 2012
The Mayan calendar is—-> widely considered to hold the Key of the times and beyond.
It’s claim astronomically correct over millions of years and has a strong cultural heritage and following.
The focus on the Mayan calendar has intensified over the last few years, because many believe December 21, 2012 of is the date when “everything goes to hell in a hand basket.” Some even think it marks the end of the world. While others, believe that it is the beginning of a new day dawn.
However, Carols Barrios, historian, anthropologist, and investigator, says the world will not end on December 21st 2012.
Barrios says, “Anthropologists visit temple sites and read the stelas (inscribed stone slabs or pillars) and inscriptions and make up stories about the Mayan, but they do not read the signs correctly. It’s just their imagination…Other people write about prophecy in the name of the Mayan. They say that the world will end in December 2012. The Mayan elders are angry with this. The world will not end. It will be transformed. The indigenous have the calendars, and know how to accurately interpret them, not others.”

Misinterpreting signs, in this case, might just mean you look a fool when your prediction’s doesn’t come true. Do you remember Harold Camping’s “Rapture” Prediction? Jesus, taught about this is in Mathew’s Gospel Chapter 25.
What is going to happen on December 21, 2012?
World re-noun televangelist, Jack Van Impe, implied on his show, and folks I am paraphrasing from memory here, “That this is the first time in human history that all cults and religions alike are talking about what is going to happen on December 21, 2012”. Not what might happen but what is going to happen.
One of the predictions circulating is the Resurrection of the righteous. Although the righteous, that is being discussed here is the Maya not Christianity.
Just click the subhead above to read more about what the Van Impe’s, had to say about this.
I Don’t Agree with Jack, about December 21, 2012
Many believe December 21, 2012, the winter solstice, is going to be the end of the world, some think it is going to be a shift in dimensions or some funky new age stuff like the resurrection of the righteous, and Jack believes it could be the rapture of the Church, which would be great, I am ready, but I don’t think so.
Will There be A Whole Lot of Shaking Going On December 21, 2012?
Want to know what I think? Of course you don’t but here it is any way. I think there is a huge 10.0 earth quake coming. That’s right an earth quake. However, this earth quake isn’t going to turn California into an desert island. This earth quake is going to be spiritual in nature, yet just as devastating as 10.0 earth quake. It will have pin point accuracy on it’s mark. Just like an invisible sniper from 100 yards away, cool and steady, placing those cross hairs in just the right position, before the trigger is squeezed.
It’s mark isn’t San Francisco or Vegas, it isn’t Lebanon, Africa or America for that matter. It’s Mark Is The Church! You may be thinking that I am going to talk about a “devil” being loose gunning for the Church, Right? Well if you are thinking that then you are off in left field, when the batter bunted the ball to short stop.
The Finger Of God Points First To The Sheppard’s Then To The Sheep
It pain’s my spirit, as I write this segment of this post. I have taken this up to the Lord in prayer, several times, and every time he has kept 4 key scriptures in front of me. While pointing to all of the ministers of righteousness, that have fallen in the gutter of sin and have lost their ministries, some have even lost their families, but the worst is the Spirit of the Lord departed from them.
The Lord brought to my attention King Saul from the old testament. How he had anointed him and chose Saul as King of Israel. How Saul disobeyed his word and did not believe. And when the spirit of God departed from him he did not know. You can read the whole story from Saul’s beginnings to his fall starting in 1 Samuel chapter 8.
The Finger of God’s Judgement points first toward the Sheppard’s…
Before judgement can fall on the world, it will first fall on the Church. The headlines of news papers and gossip rags across the country are full of televangelist’s that are caught in secret sin or defrauding someone or a group of someone’s. Televangelist’s aren’t even on my radar right now. The Lord has shown me in his word (2Thessalonians 2:3) and through prayer that the falling away of the church is coming to a head soon. We are already in the falling away of the Church my friend. Here is your proof:
Research from Barna, Focus on the Family, and Fuller Seminary About Local Pastors
From recent research, 1050 pastors were surveyed from two pastor’s conferences held in Orange County and Pasadena, Ca—416 in 2005, and 634 in 2006
- Of the one thousand fifty (1,050 or 100%) pastors we surveyed, every one of them had a close associate or seminary buddy who had left the ministry because of burnout, conflict in their church, or from a moral failure.
- Nine hundred forty-eight (948 or 90%) of pastors stated they are frequently fatigued, and worn out on a weekly and even daily basis (did not say burned out).
- Nine hundred thirty-five, (935 or 89%) of the pastors we surveyed also considered leaving the ministry at one time. Five hundred ninety, (590 or 57%) said they would leave if they had a better place to go—including secular work.
- Eighty- one percent (81%) of the pastors said there was no regular discipleship program or effective effort of mentoring their people or teaching them to deepen their Christian formation at their church (remember these are the Reformed and Evangelical—not the mainline pastors!). (This is Key)
- Eight hundred eight (808 or 77%) of the pastors surveyed felt they did not have a good marriage!
- Seven hundred ninety (790 or 75%) of the pastors surveyed felt they were unqualified and/or poorly trained by their seminaries to lead and manage the church or to counsel others. This left them disheartened in their ability to pastor.
- Seven hundred fifty-six (756 or 72%) of the pastors surveyed stated that they only studied the Bible when they were preparing for sermons or lessons. This left only 38% who read the Bible for devotions and personal study.
- Eight hundred two (802 or 71%) of pastors stated they were burned out, and they battle depression beyond fatigue on a weekly and even a daily basis.
- Three hundred ninety-nine (399 or 38%) of pastors said they were divorced or currently in a divorce process.
- Three hundred fifteen (315 or 30%) said they had either been in an ongoing affair or a one-time sexual encounter with a parishioner.
- Two hundred seventy (270 or 26%) of pastors said they regularly had personal devotions and felt they were adequately fed spirituality. (This is Key).
- Two hundred forty-one (241 or 23%) of the pastors we surveyed said they felt happy and content on a regular basis with who they are in Christ, in their church, and in their home!
- Of the pastors surveyed, they stated that a mean (average) of only 25% of their church’s membership attended a Bible Study or small group at least twice a month. The range was 11% to a max of 40%, a median (the center figure of the table) of 18% and a mode (most frequent number) of 20%. This means over 75% of the people who are at a “good” evangelical church do not go to a Bible Study or small group (that is not just a book or curriculum study, but where the Bible is opened and read, as well as studied), (This is Key). (I suspect these numbers are actually lower in most evangelical and Reformed churches because the pastors that come to conferences tend to be more interested in the teaching and care of their flock than those who usually do not attend.)
Here is research that we distilled from Barna, Focus on the Family, and Fuller Seminary, all of which backed up our findings, and additional information from reviewing others’ research:
- Fifteen hundred pastors leave the ministry each month due to moral failure, spiritual burnout, or contention in their churches.
- Fifty percent of pastors’ marriages will end in divorce.
- Eighty percent of pastors feel unqualified and discouraged in their role as pastor.
- Fifty percent of pastors are so discouraged that they would leave the ministry if they could, but have no other way of making a living.
- Eighty percent of seminary and Bible school graduates who enter the ministry will leave the ministry within the first five years.
- Seventy percent of pastors constantly fight depression.
- Almost forty percent polled said they have had an extra-marital affair since beginning their ministry.
- Seventy percent said the only time they spend studying the Word is when they are preparing their sermons (This is Key).

This poll was taken from 1989 to 2006. How much worse is it today?
The problem I see with pastors is that they do not follow the precepts of the Bible, whether it is by choice or by the church board. Below is what a pastors job is suppose to be;
- Pastors are to be in prayer (Acts 6:4)
- Pastors are to be continually in the ministry of the word (Acts 6:4)
- Pastors are to be soul winners and teach the congregation to be soul winners (Mathew 28:16-20) This is every Christian’s commission pastors included.
Instead our pastors are counselling members of the congregation. Many pastors have a degree in psychology, Christ never said anything in his word to counsel. In smaller churches the pastor is mowing the Church lawn, cleaning the church, visiting the sick, and visiting members of the Church in there homes. The pastor has many hats, when Christ, only gave him 3 jobs that the pastor needs to attend to. No wonder, so many pastors leave the ministry.
I like to read, biographies of pastors, evangelist, and prayer warriors. The giants of faith and prayer, from centuries past These men and woman of God, work all the time; in prayer, in the word of God, and ministering their faith on the streets where the people are and the Lord blessed their ministry with signs and wonders following, just like it was in the book of Acts.
It’s time Church, to relieve your pastor of all of his or her many duties and get back to God’s way of doing things.
Then too the Sheep Or Why is the Church has no Power
Jeremiah 50:6, gives us a hint as to why the Church of today has no power in our world today.
6 My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray , they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace.
When a Pastor, is not continually in prayer and the word of God, hearing and discerning the direction that God through the Holy Spirit is leading the church, the Pastor and the Church, fall into a famine of the word. Hear what the Prophet Amos say’s;
Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come , saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
The results of playing church and pastors tickling the ears of the congregation instead of following the paths that the Lord guides us, leads the church astray. Reminds me of the blind leading the blind.
Fly’s in the ointment
Not only are pastors dropping like fly’s, many in the church and I am talking about your local churches here in America, are following suit as well. it’s as if believers are landing on a poisonous ointment of deception. I have noticed that many churches are down sizing or disbanding all together. I notice this a year or so ago. I took this to the Lord, many times. Recently, the Lord told me the cause of all of this and why the Church is being shaken.
The reason: Many Apostles, Prophets, Pastor’s, Evangelist, and Teachers, quite believing the word of God. They have changed the word into a lie! Because of the laziness of the sheep, not bothering checking the theology of men and women that claim to be sent from God, we go play games after a church service, they too are deceived and loose there way. Re-read Jeremiah 50:6 again.
1 Tim 4:1-3
1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron ;
3 Forbidding to marry , and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
When there is a famine of the word of God, we tend to fall into superstitions, fables, wives tales, bending the scriptures in order to suite our own greedy, needy, purposes, all the while stating “thus saith the Lord!” Just like King Saul, Sampson, and many other bible characters the Spirit of the Lord has departed and we don’t even know it.
Are You Falling Away? Or How To Stay In The Everlasting Arms Of God’s Grace
2Thessalonians 2:1-3
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled , neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand .
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed , the son of perdition;
Why must there be a falling away first?
1Peter 4:7
“For it is time for judgment to begin with the household
of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the
outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?”
The Lord is getting ready her bride.
He is trimming, and pruning that grafted section of the tree of life. And when he is finished with that work, He is going to send the wind to blow on her. From the North, from the South, from the East, and from the West. Not one at a time… no, no, heavens No! The wind is going to blow from all sides, all at once! And that tree is going to shake violently! Like a 10.0 Earth Quake!
And when the dust settles, will you be found hanging on? or will you be like a branch that neglected to sink its self deeply into the mighty oak tree and the storm came and snapped off that weak branch and fallen to the ground?
It is time, for you to check your root system friend. Are you rooted and grounded in Christ today? Is Christ your rock or anchor?
Can you sing with the saints of centuries past…
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
When darkness veils His lovely face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.
His oath, His covenant, His blood
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.
When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
Dressed in His righteousness alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.

Why? To increase membership rolls, help pay for building plans, feed a power-hungry pastor or denomination, or any of a number of reasons you can name. These are those groups that play church and lose the realism of tied them to our Lord. God to them is a system, and form.
Yes. And it is a dangerous game that many churches are playing. However, it isn't just Church and pastors, the problem is with individual believers as well. Many don't pray and seek God's will.
Well, December 21st, 2012 is the date of the Winter Solstice or the shortest day in 2012. Throughout history, various groups of people have attached significance to the waxing and waning of the Sun. Most of them elevated the Sun to the place of a god.
I don't know if many today practice sun worship or even moon worship, I am sure there are some that do.
What is Earthquake Resurrection? It is a model bringing to the prophetic landscape a fresh analysis of the future resurrection of the dead in Christ and the meaning of the "last trumpet" or "trumpet of God" that sounds just before the event. Earthquake Resurrection explores the possibility that the disappearance of a large group of believers worldwide, traditionally known as the rapture of the church, will be masked by global catastrophe. This possibility is based on a pattern found in scripture that the power unleashed when a human being is resurrected into an immortal body causes a shaking of the surrounding earth. The model shows that the event within the Book of Revelation at which this event takes place is the opening of the sixth seal of the scroll of seven seals in the right hand of God, in connection with the blood red moon unleashing the day of the Lord's wrath. The United States is going to experience in the not-too-distant future the most tragic earthquakes in its history. One day soon this nation will be reeling under the impact of the biggest news story of modern times. It will be coverage of the biggest most disastrous earthquake in history.
I hope not. I live in Missouri, and the last time Missouri had an earth quake it made the Missisippi river run back wards. Although in this article I was actually talking about a spiritual quake that will shake the Church.
Wow! This really is an important blog. Pretty much Fantastic.
Superb post but I was wanting to know if you could write a litte more on this topic?
I’d be very grateful if you could elaborate a little bit further.
Appreciate it!
