Made In America?

Made in America?

Dear Friend,

I have been trying my best, not to place my political views on this blog.  To remain neutral, during these tough times.  However, with the rise of tyranny approaching like the rider of death and destruction, an apocalyptic holocaust  maybe looming on the horizon of peace, which threatens our security and freedoms. Just watch America’s watch dogs on Fox News. The only place for the real un-edited

I was researching Sam Walton, founder of  Wal Mart corporationfor this blog post. You see he wrote a book in the ’90’s called made in America.  It was all about his vision of capitalism and privatization. But now since his death on April 5th 1992, The Wal Mart corporation has taken a different route from Sam’s vision. More and More, I see less and less American made products on the shelves today.

Now Wal Mart has taken a new stance of providing less for more. Here’s the story, recently our local Wal Mart super center, recently remodeled. The corporation has decided for us that we need less choices. Like that will some how help our stressful daily lives.  I believe that they think with less choices, we will decide faster and spend less time in there store. In and out shopping. At least that has been the case for my family. In actualality, it has fustrated me to no end. Some of the products that we used to use and only found in there store are now no longer available. Now, this is there choice. And I have a choice as well. Should I shop at Wal Mart or not. After all, as far as grocieries go they are no longer unique in our area anymore.

The only thing Wal Mart provides is convience shopping. Instead of driving to five diffrent stores for groceries, hardware, clothing, etc.

Anyway, this is a glimps into a future post. I haven’t finished my research. As a matter of fact, I haven’t even started. This is just a casual observation of what Wal Mart, is becoming. What spured this post is the email I recieved below. It does touch on the tolerance that I see in America, which is not a good thing. Twenty years ago, Americans would be protesting on the streets, with just cause, against what is taking place now. Threats of  Socialism,  loss of jobs due to corperations moving to foreign countries. Are we forgetting our values and roots? Are forgetting why we became a nation in the first place. I believe we are. The more we forget now and protest less, the more freedoms that we take for granted we will loose.

This is a warning America.

Subject:  Please read BUYING FOOD THE OTHER DAY AT THE COUNTRY MARKET AND ON THE LABEL OF SOME PRODUCTS IT SAID ‘FROM CHINA’.

FOR EXAMPLE THE “OUR FAMILY” BRAND OF THE MANDARIN ORANGES SAYS RIGHT ON THE CAN ‘FROM CHINA’.

I WAS SHOCKED!  SO FOR A FEW MORE CENTS I BOUGHT THE LIBERTY GOLD BRAND OR THE DOLE SINCE IT’S FROM CALIF.

TAKES FOREVER JUST TO BUY FOOD AND DO LABEL READING ! !

Are we Americans as dumb as we appear — or — is it that we just do not think? While the Chinese, knowingly and intentionally, export inferior and even toxic products and dangerous toys and goods to be sold in American markets, the media wrings its hands and criticizes the ex-Bush Administration for perceived errors.

Yet 70% of Americans believe that the trading privileges afforded to the Chinese should be suspended.

Well, duh..why do you need the government to suspend trading privileges?

SIMPLY DO IT YOURSELF, AMERICA!

Simply look on the bottom of every product you buy, and if it says ‘Made in China’ or ‘PRC’ (and that now includes Hong Kong), simply choose another product, or none at all. You will be amazed at how dependent you are on Chinese products, and you will be equally amazed at what you can do without.

Who needs plastic eggs to celebrate Easter? If you must have eggs, use real ones and benefit some American farmer. Easter is just an example, the point is do not wait for the government to act. Just go ahead and assume control on your own.
THINK ABOUT THIS:  If 200 million Americans refuse to buy just $20 each of Chinese goods, that’s a billion dollar trade imbalance resolved in our favor…fast!

The downside? Some American businesses will feel a temporary pinch from having foreign stockpiles of inventory.

The solution?  Let’s give them fair warning and send our own message. Most of the people who have been reading about this matter are planning on implementing this on June 4, and continue it until July 4.  That is only one month of trading losses, but it will hit the Chinese for 1/12th of the total, or 8%, of their American exports. Then they will at least have to ask themselves if the benefits of their arrogance and lawlessness were worth it.

Remember, June 4 to July 4.

EVEN BETTER. . . START NOW.

Send this to everybody you know. Let’s show them that we are Americans and NOBODY can take us for granted.

If we can’t live without cheap Chinese goods for one month out of our lives, WE DESERVE WHAT WE GET!

Pass it on, America
