Right now, as I am writing this there is a major storm taking place here in central Missouri. The storm cell started in Oklahoma and is as far north east as St.Louis Missouri. At the edge of Oklahoma 5 tornado’s have touched down. Looks like Moore might get hit yet again.
The Lord told me to write this post for all that may be experiencing storms in your area. I have complete confidence that the Lord will get eyes on this posting just in time.
My wife Helen and I was out and about the Lake of the Ozarks, drop off our broken riding mower for repair and stop at JJ Twigs for a light dinner. We ordered carry out because we could see a storm front moving in from Columbia Missouri. Once I pick up the food we started for home.
I thought that I was ahead of this storm until I turn off onto our road. By the time I pulled the truck into the garage the storm front was already on top of us. I let the dogs out to go to the bathroom before the rain started in.
How to talk to a storm
Once the doggies and my wife were inside, I step out into my yard and stared right at the storm. Much like Clint Eastwood, would do if he was getting ready for a duel. Now I know that many of you might think this is just a bunch of bologna or superstition, let me tell you, nobody ever told Jesus that he was full of it when the disciples woke him up because they were afraid they were going to die because their ship was in the wake of a tempest. Mark 4:35-41
Since I am updating this post (10/4/21) I want you to know that you as a christian can not take authority over an entire area around you. I saw the video’s of Kat Kerr, taking authority over hurricanes and commanding them to turn and dissipate. She also sales a weather warrior kit for $25 too. You don’t need it.
You don’t have that kind of authority. Unless the Lord commands you to hold up your arms or staff against a storm for the area, it ain’t going to work.
Notice what I did and do when I take authority over storms.
The first thing you need to do is stand your ground in faith.
You don’t have to step out in the rain, by all means take cover, but stand your ground with the faith you have in Jesus name. 1 Corinthians 16:13
The second thing you need to do is speak to the storm with full authority:
I don’t pray to a storm. I speak to it! Here is what you should tell it.
“Storm I take full authority over you in Jesus name. I command you to cease and desist your destructive activity, in Jesus name! No harm or destruction will fall on my property, my family or myself, in Jesus Holy name”
Now if you are living in an area that a severe storm is getting ready to take place, step out in faith and with the authority you have in Christ Jesus, talk to the storm .
